My Little Movie Star (lol)!!

Playing with my new nifty fifty lens when we were at the fireworks. I have a Rebel XT that I have never loved but am determined to learn to use the settings before I allow myself to buy a better camera! I am a wanna-be portrait photographer (kids and family stuff)! Anyone care to edit this for me and show me what potential this photo has????? Thanks in advance :)

Thanks so much! So what did you do to it? Her skin looks crisper (is sharper the right word here?) and the blue looks lighter? What program?

I used Photoshop cs4....i just did a series of my own actions on it. I brightened it a bit and applied a popping action. I also warmed it up a bit and the sharpening was done with the framing action.
