Try to look past the watermark. To many 'borrowings'.

Wheels aren't turning.
Last time I rode a motorcycle the wheels turned.
And whats that funny looking thing through the front of the front wheel??

if mud is flying i could that as enough motion, but on the 2nd shot it does look kinda weird how its so still

Yes, the frames are UGLY and watermarks are unfortunate (but I am beginning to come around) and the pictures are very good! I particularly like the eye and mud in the first one.

In the second photothere is something seriously out of place when looking through the spokes of the front wheel. There seems to be something mechanical at the leading edge that does not belong followed by light tan dirt that does not match the rest of the backround. Looks to be over photochopped.
I like the first one.

if the idea is to not have people "borrow" your images, unfortunately I don't think the watermark is heavy enough. I am not a real big fan of watermarks, I understand thier intent, but subtle watermarks are not going to stop the type of people that have no issues with lifting images. My philosophy is that I need to figure anything I post in the web is open season, so my best stuff and commercial stuff never sees the web unless I am willing to have a free low res version out there - which I will do because what I shoot is collage sports - but nothing that would print up bigger then a 4 x 6. For what it is worth.
These are great shots but the processing does seem to be on the heavy side... I think you could ton it down or do multi-pass on the sharpening. Not sure what is going on with the front wheel but once it was pointed out - it does look odd.
Sorry you had to resort to watermarks.... cheers.

Thanks for the comments :)
Most of the 'lifting' is used on web sites. When they are used for a commercial purpose is what really bothers me. I have had it happen many times in the past. Some have paid me, some removed them and some play stupid and leave them there.
I am designing a site in Flash where they can't be lifted.

Great shots, but what is that in the 2nd shot, front wheel?
Flash only stops the less determined when it comes to stealing images, I'm looking for a screen capture blocker that stop the Print Screen feature that all PCs have had since the early days (yet, so few are aware of...)

You can avoid some borrowing by not making them such high quality. Not a fan of the frames. Don't mind the watermark though.

Are you talking about what looks to be in the spokes of the front wheel on the dirtbike?
It does look odd and I never noticed it. I think it's his boot as in a turn like this you usually put your foot out for balance.

Loook at the brown patch of leather on the inside of hos left boot. I believe that diagonal design it what you're seeing on the other side of his from wheel.

I don't think its his boot, since the angle of the leg and the angle of the boot do not match.
And there seems to be a bright patch of soil in that area too which doesn't jive.

Nice shots, Mike. Love the flying mud in #1, great background in #2.
The boot showing through the front wheel doesn't line up with his knee, so either he broke his leg or someone's been photochopping.;)
Frames are great for pictures hanging on your wall. On the internet, they make files bigger which consumes storage space and bandwidth and slows download times. They also tend to get scrolled off the screen. I had to scroll to the right to see the second image because of the frame. So if you feel the need to frame images, please keep them thin and simple. Sorry to pick on you about this, you're not the only offender.;)
