Has anyone used or purchased an underwater housing for one of the PowerShot cameras? I have the PowerShot SD500 and thinking about getting one for when I go snorkeling or doing water sports.

I have one for my powershot s50 and I will be getting one for my new s70. It works great! Just follow the directions. I highly recommmend it. I use it snorkeling and when on the beach so far. No sand in the camera! I will use it if I will be taking pics in the rain or other wet/dirty conditions.

Cool. I think I will get one. I am going to Jamaica to do some snorkeling and such and thought it would be cool.

I have it for my SD300 and I love it! Buy it online and you will find it way cheaper than any store.

search for it on www.pricegrabber.com

I have one for my S50 AND my S70. Use them for snorkeling and once in the hot tub, hehe. The pics come out great and so far no leaks...... that's a good thing!!!

this thread is great! i've been considering getting underwater housing for my s60, since i'm planning a cruise for the winter and want to take snorkeling pictures. I just wasnt sure how reliable they are, but its good to here positive feedback from you all before spending the $160+.

I've got one for my S45 and have taken it past the 20m mark. No problems.
