Tamron 18-200 f/3.5-6.3 [Archive] - Canon Digital Photography Forums

Has anyone ever had the chance to try this lens out? And IF so what did you think? I'm trying to make up my mind as to what to get: The Canon 55-250 zoom IS or the Tamron.
I bought it but still have a week to decide whether to take it back or not. I'm a newbie with just getting the Rebel T1i which only came with the 18-55 lens.

Any thoughts or help?

I don't have experience with any other zoom lens, but IMO it is good glass for the price, very versatile, and not inconveniently huge and bulky.

I guess I'll be the first to post an image from this lens.

thanks for the post but i was hoping there would be more members contributing photos to this thread since im most likely going to buy this lens. well i guess il have to share photos once i buy the lens. thanks for the post!!!!
