For a person who's always picked blueberries kneeling in the dirt close to the ground, dropping more on the ground due to size than actually putting in the bucket, this was a treat for sure.
My husband took me and my dad (who was vacationing here with us for 9 days) up to a place in the mountains called Blueberry Hill. This place was a 12 acre blueberry farm, as they advertise "The biggest, juiciest, pick your own blueberries, you've ever seen!". Sure enough they were. My dad refused to believe they were blueberries, we picked a whole 4 gallons worth which totalled about 24pounds!
I couldn't help but sneak off and get my camera and get a few shots, these are the ones I was the most happy with.
I appologize for the crappy size down but my programs weren't working properly today.
