I tried to post this earlier but not sure if it worked. Just would like some comments, out practicing with the wife and did some minor post.

These are nice! Again congrats on the baby. One thing I wished I did when my wife was pregnant was to take more pictures throughout to show the baby's progress, but now we're done. Oh, well.

The second one I like the best, but maybe giving the picture a little fill flash will take away the dark spot on her face. Just MHO.

thanks for the kind words. Taking a closer look, I agree about the sign post and the fill flash. Honestly it's hard to focus on anything besides the fact that I'm about to be a dad!!

1. Feel a little soft, but maybe its the compression on it that takes away some of the quality.

2. The pole sticking out of her head.

Anyway, overall they are pretty good.

Keep shooting and you will keep improving.... I love the beach background. Hope to see more from you soon....

Really nice compositions apart from the pole as mentioned, nice poses also.....the pics look a little flat and fuzzy though. Are they compressed jpeg, raw or other and did you sharpen prior to 'save for web'. These are some tips I've picked up here and have found very useful. Can't be too long away now, dad!

I like two best, but would crop it a lot tighter around her. After all she is the focus--not the rocks... Should be easy to clone out the pole... Thanks for sharing
