You have a great eye. Most people would have passed it by. It is some kind of immature stage of a bug. I can not see the head very well. Good job again, Bald Eagle.

You sure do find some weird creatures. I'm not sure what it is either, but if I had to guess I'd suggest it is a beetle larvae.

I have seen a few of these but was always shooting birds at the time, you did a great job here with this image super sharp nice details abound, more DOF wouldn't have added anything as you have the legs and the insect inside right in focus.
