Just something I wanted to try. Shot with a 10-22mm @ 15mm f/11 10-15s exposure time, ISO 100. These are all unprocessed.

I think the accelerator was stuck, looks like warp speed.

I love these pics, they turned out great.

Wondering about the same thing. What can be used so that camera shake isn't involved in the picture?

when my friends and i did it.. we wedged the tripod in as snug as possible, and i also sat in the hatch (rsx), and tried my best to steady the cam.. then you just need to accel/drive smoothly... preferably on decent roads.

Thanks for the responses everyone.

For those who are interested, the tripod was in the back set and setup with two legs in each footrest area, one leg wedged against the back seat, and then the center column on the back seat. This formed a solid 4-point contact which is why I think the interior stayed so sharp for 10-15s exposures. Even though the roads weren't super smooth (you can tell from the jumpiness of the light streaks), but any bumps in the car translated into the exact same motion for the camera.

Dr Lazarus, cool shots! It's funny, prior to trying this I searched and searched to see if anyone had done something similar, but couldn't find a single example. Glad to see I'm not the only one to try it. :D
