I have been searching online lately for props, things like the little baskets, bowls, buckets....things like that to pose newborns in and I'm not having any luck. Usually the only thing that comes up are the little beanies and wraps. Are these just things you find at other stores and make them newborn props or are there any specialty stores that sell them for this reason? I would LOVE any advice!

There are online stores that sell props.
There's also a disc you can buy off e-bay that you can put a baby to a variety of flower. I thought it was tacky when I read the description, but looking at the samples... some images were really cute!

When I'm out shopping, I'm always looking for cute ideas that can work with baby/kid sessions! There's a lot of treasures you can find at second hand shops too!
If you have great session ideas, it's just a matter of finding what's in your head! ;)

I found a basket in walmart that I think will be cute with babies. im hoping to try it out tomorrow. im going to put a red throw on the studio floor, put the basket on that, put a white throw inside the basket and the baby on that. and take the pic over head. at least this is how Ive got it planned, things tend to work out differently the day of. :)

Ive also picked up some red fake flower pedals from walmart, and some of those white and pink ones to. its cute to put the baby on a white throw, and put those fake pedals around the baby. Real ones would be better but then that gets expensive. :) Hmm, I wonder if the local florist would have some "discarded" pedals for cheap, may have to stop by on the way to the studio tomorrow.

walmart, country decor stores are great sometimes I've found some really neat things at a boutique style store called OBJECTS, you just never know...even some at a Value Village or second hand stores.

Fabric stores, clearance sections.... good luck!

Now....I'm looking for a bean bag chair, not easy to find I'll have to order one but I want it for next week! .....
