This one below is one of my favorites. It's a crop. The flower itself was about 1/2 inch small. It was really tiny! All done with the 350D with kit lens.
PLEASE Comment and Crititque! Thanks!

My favorite is #1, the others in my opinion, have great composition and color, but they appear a little soft on my monitor, have you tried using USM on them? Overall well done.

I agree with Bald Eagle, number one is sharp and good depth of field. The compositions are pleasing to look but their not quite as sharp. This is something I am still working on myself.

I like 1 & 4, just because. (How's that for technical?) :D ;)

I would say the images all need some USM applied to them as they appear soft I tired one of the images and adding some USM to them here and the sharpened up pretty nicely, Post processing looks like you need to work on. From a compositional point of view the 3rd and 5th images are the strongest here.

What is USM? (Ultra Sonic Motor...lol?)
I never used post processing before, but when i tried it i can't go without it, because it makes some pics look sooo much better.
Thanks for the comments, i will work on better images once i get a better lens. The kit lens isn't that great...

USM = UnSharp Mask, the most common method for improving sharpness.
Post processing will give you better images regardless of the lens, not only improving sharpness but just about every other aspect as well. It can often make the difference between a good shot and a really great one.
