I am so accustomed to shooting engaged or marrying couples, I totally blanked out today when a 20 yr old college grad called and said her mom want s pictures of her and a 23 year old brother. I just keep wondering how to not take "creepy" images! Would appreciate some insight.

I know what you mean, so I would say just nothing really "close" LOL.
they can be "posed", but just "next" to each other..maybe crossing their arms, or ifsitting "with" each other, obviously not "together" does that make sense.
If one is standing and one is sitting, the brother could stand and just have his hand on her shoulder maybe?
interesting request with adults !!

Yeah, I think I';ll have to utilize things like this. The mother of the kids (shows my age, 20 somethings are kids now!) wanted some pics of them.

Maybe do a piggy back one? IDK if that would be creepy or not, I just took one not too long ago of my husband and his sister like that. Also maybe back to back with arms crossed giving that sibling smirk. Just my opinion. Good luck!

We'll definitely do the back to back pose & maybe the piggy back, if they're comfortable with that. I was also thinking of an arm wrestling shot.

haha - yeah it would be hard not to venture into creepy territory on this assignment... but I would keep to the sibling "rivalry" theme and you should be safe! Just delete any accidental creepy shots really quick!

Arm around the other's neck, both facing camera, not like they are choking each other, but in a playful way.
