The first looks like a great grey, the second some kind of eagle owl. Nice shots!

You know if you take all the feathers off a bird like this you would know that there isn't much meat under them and they only look like bricks :) Super shot here also nice in flight capture

Nice shots. The look of concentration on the owl in the first pic is priceless !

The angle on the first shot is singular. Never seen anything like it. Great shot!

I love the first shot. What lens did you use for that shot?

Thanks all! I did get a little cuddle of the big fella and youre correct, there was nothing under those feathers! I used a canon 75-300 with a 2x converter. Was v difficult to keep up with them and Im going to continue to be patient till I get the shot I want. Tried to capture falcon but he was all over the place quicker than a jet! If anyone could give me some advice on capturing these birds Id be greatful. Lenses, technique, you know.....:)

#2 is a good shot. It just needs to be lightened in PP. Lighten the shadows 10% or so and it'll look a whole lot different. It's just underexposed as you have it now.

Like watching the Spruce Goose (or whatever that plane was called) trying to get off the ground :)
