Beautiful photography as usual, Stan. I love the family groupings in these two shots. How close were you to them?

Super shots. I assume these are in series. Seems they've taken a defensive posture - all facing forward, tightened ranks, children close to their mother's side.

Thanks for all your comments. The sheep were grazing about 100 feet from my car. I got out and took these shots (300 mm). The sheep showed a little curiosity and started moving closer, coming within 30 feet. Some seemed curious, others were simply grazing. I finally left, after about 25 shots. They stayed together so closely, I had trouble getting individuals apart from the group.
