In PSCS which control + key changes the foreground color back to white? I'm going through a brain fade...............

I not sure this is what you're asking but the "X" key alone switches the background and foreground colours. So if your background is the default white you are good to go.

I think it's "d", for default. "x" swaps the background and foreground.

Tim, I thought it was control D also but it isn't doing the trick............I guess I'll either read the book or go back to the old way!!!!!

Neither Tim or mapollo have mentioned pressing the "control" key, you did!
Just press "d" by itself to default to black/white and press "x" by itself to swap the colours.

Ctrl+D brings up the dialog to feather a selection. :)

ctrl-d deselects the current selection in CS2 for windows.

CTL-D does whatever you set it to do. Those commands are completely customizable. But, like MrGibbage said, the default is to deselect the current selection (in CS2 anyway).
