Well I knew it was going to come some day, just didnt think it would be like this. I knew shooting weddings that eventually I would have a Bride and Groom get married at a No Flash Super Dark Church. Yeah Roman Catholic and No Flash During Ceremony. I have always gotten by with my 24-105 and 10-22 and 100-400 multiple strobes etc. Well I need to know if anyone in Central Cali has some faster glass in a longer focal length they would let me borrow or rent out for a day this up coming Saturday the 14th. Normally I would have just bit the bullet and used the funds from the wedding to get a lens (did that and got a 50 1.4 on the way right now) but the funds are tight for this wedding as it is a very weird circumstance.
A guy I went on a mission trip during the katrina disaster called me last thursday. Said Hey are you busy next Saturday (the 14th) I need a favor. My Son never hired a photog for the wedding so I was wondering if I could just hire you to shoot the ceremony and formals after. So being that it is going to be about a 3 hour job and it is for a buddy I am not making much on it. So if anyone can help me out that would be great.
