View Full Version : Fixed prime for motorcycle roadracing?

Had a 70-200 2.8 IS with a 1.4 TC.

Seemed to be shooting wide open alot, so I think a bit more reach would be ideal.

Do I go 100-400 f4.5-5.6, 300 f2.8, 300 f4? Or something else to consider?

My only concern is using a fixed prime, would it be too limiting?

Nevermind. I bit the bullet on a 300mm 2.8 IS :)

Great choice and probably the most used lens in motorsports.
