Jeff,

I'm sure you noticed the shadow under the hat brim in #3. I presume you were using a hotshoe-mounted flash unit.

My dumb question of the day is: what would happen if you turned the camera upside down for a shot like that?

Well-done shots of what appears to be an interesting place.

I've done that, and it works fine...it's just a matter of getting the fingers to remember their new positions on the camera...

And that's not a dumb question.

How about turning the girl upside down?Well, her hat would fall off, so that would solve the problem, but it might create other issues.:)

Coyote Ugly is a real place? Well I never realized that, I thought it was just a movie! :)

I thought it was a chain, but now that I think of it, the only one I actually know about is in the New York, New York casino in Las Vegas. I've walked past the entrance many times, but haven't gone in yet. I'm going to have to make sure I do that next time I'm there...

There are several (12 or 15) Coyote Ugly's around the country, all about the same type of place. Kind of a fun place every now and then.


Tried to turn my camera upside down and take a flash photo like that. Very difficult for me, will take a lot of practice.

How do you rate your low light photography now compared to since you first went in the CU bar?? What have you learnt & put into practice compared to the first trip?? (apart from having to try & work out a way to shoot standing on your head :D)

Like the pink haired barmaid, she could leave the fire at the CUB & fit into the Kir any time :)
