Half-time chat from The Coach - team can't look at him.
C & C pls - is it a case of blue & green should not be seen?
Should I up or down the contrast?

I think the framing is too tight and you have lost both the top of the coaches hat and the faces of his team. My eye is always being drawn to the fact that the picture is falling uot of the frame at both the top and bottom.

I like it tight, its gonna be a gift print for our coach. Granted it could be too vague in composition for a viewer not connected to the subject. I'm just worried the contrast and whether its too high or anything.

did you blur the background in photoshop? the edges around the coach's jacket look a little odd, and the blur doesn't seem to increase with increasing distance.
I would find a photo of a winning moment, or at least a hopeful moment, to give to the coach.

Tho main thing I would do is include the top of the hat. The blured background works good.

This is the frame. Its not cropped. The top of the hat was missed, its a candid, one of a three shot burst. I was walking at the time too.
The thin stripe on the jacket runs the line down the arm right on the edge of the arm. It looks like a blur line, but its not -the background is not PS blur. Its bokeh. The grass embankment behind has washes of good grass and frosted effected grass.
The embankment around the field can be seen in this shot (http://www.pbase.com/pixelparker/image/47657174) of the coach during play.

If it is picture quality, not composition, comments you are interested in, the white balance is off. Too Cyan.

The blue and green doesn't bother me at all, however I'd like to see more of the kids in the picture, otherwise to some extent it's just a man in a tracksuit. The actual quality of shot is excellenet though, at least to my eye.
