I found that there are 43mm and 52 mm lens adapters available. Which one to choose?

It really depends on what size filters or lenses you already have, or want to get. If you have a Nikon or Canon 35mm film camera, then 52mm is good because you can use someof the same filters. 43mm is good because it's cheaper and Tiffen MegaPlus lenses are that size.
Personally, I have a 52mm Kenko adaptor because it gives more room for the zoom lens and filters are easier to get in that size. Kenko also makes some superb telefoto and wide angle lenses for the G2 in that size. Either way, you can get step up or down rings to mix and match-to a point.

There are also 49mm (Lensmate) and 58mm (Canon).

Considering vignetting with stacked filters and overall appearance and construction, I would suggest Lensmate at www.lensmateonline.com.
