Hi All,

I was wondering whether if anyone tried a G1 with the Tiffen 43mm adaptor with the range of lens for the Kodak DC4800 lens. The kodak lens are all 43mm mount and are so much cheaper as well. has anyone ever thought about it? As I live in Sydney, I can hardly find any other lens like the lensmate etc.

thanks,
Boshala

After reading your post, I started looking around on the Internet for images shot with the Kodak lens. I use the Tiffen Megaplus telephoto with the 43mm adapter, and though the image quality is good, there is severe vignetting even at full telephoto. I was hoping the Kodak lenses wouldn't have this problem, and it looks like they don't. However, it also looks as if, based on the shots I saw (and I don't have the URL handy) they have pretty serious chromatic aberation and blurring at the edges, which I suppose is why they are so cheap.
