Ok, This is really my first attempt at "sports" photography so I hope you enjoy.

Had some great light in the early evening the other day so I ran out to shot....SOMETHING! lol. Found a couple of guys skating at the fairly new skate park around the corner and asked if I could shot....here are a couple of the resaults. Any Crits/Comments/suggestions appreciated....

I really like the second one. The first one kind of bothers me how you cut it off. I assume that was your intention. Were you just going for something out of the ordinary?

This and another shot which I have not posted, were shot this way intentionally. The idea was to capture the activity, but to have anonimity...you know, kind of give the feeling that it could be anyone. I don't know if I achieved this, but that was the intention.

Juan23: the only pp was sharpaning. The rest was done in Camera Raw. Here's the Metadata out of PS CS2.

i like #2. #1 i don't like. I'm not sure what to focus my attention on. I'm naturally looking at the feet on the skateboard....but the picture doen't actually draw me there, more so on the tree which is centered in the pic :)

Good point m2elmo. I didn't really notice it untill you brought it up, but there really isn't anything holding you in the photo....perhaps I'll have to have a look at some of the others.

Really nice shots - probably one of the harder sports to get great looking shots - there is very much a style to SB shots... and you have done good.

Great shot on #2. I would photoshop it a bit though. Brighten up the skateboard, i think it would be a nice draw of attention and it has good colours and patterns in it of interest.

number one isnt nearly as good as number 2.
only nit pick would be to have hand in the photo and not chopped off
