That's a spooky spider. A great shot and it would have been so easy to pass it by. Well spotted!

And I didn't see the spider at first too. It was a weevil we saw a couple inches below the spider - I guess the spider was waiting for it.

It wasn't that big, not much more than one inch - with the legs. I guess it's a Nursery Web Spider.

perfect camouflage. Very hard to spot, great capture. An Ambush spider.

I have found so many subjects that blend in nicely with their surrounding untill the move :) Very good eye to have seen this and this image shows this spiders hiding skills and camo very nicely here.
