Picked up my 10D - V excited! Beautiful piece of kit, wonderfully well thought through, everything works, loads of buttons to play with. Feels fabulous to hold and what an introduction to DSLR! Oh, probably take some pics tomorrow when I've found the on switch! :D
Anyway, the screen has got 3 or 4 bright red dots. I've read this happens sometimes and know it won't affect the images. However, what shall I do about it? The camera's now less than 5 hrs old! Should I expect it to be utterly perfect or if I get it replaced, will it just happen again? If I try hard to ignore the dots - they're all together in an L shape by the way, on the edge of the cenre of the screen - I can get by. However, when I see them, I get a knot in my stomach! Seriously though, they're quite intrusive, especially when looking at an image when the dots somehow, seem to be part of the picture.
Advice would be really appreciated - ???
