Me too..........someone told me that they thought that it might be an "Ermine" moth...............that works :-)

I thought moths had their wings flat out during rest, while butterflies have their wings straight up like in the pic. Whatever it is, it's really creepy, yet really cool. I'm just glad he's not trapped in my house, lol

Nothing scary about this moth it's pretty and cool looking here, I think the head shot straight on doesn't show this off as nicely as partial to full profile shot would though.
