Need a little help, I'm out of town on a job and didn't bring my 550ex and d60 library. Was shooting a situation and was trying to mix ambient with flash, but I can't get the AE lock to lock when the strobe is on??? It works when its off, but not when the strobe is on. Which of these thousands of variables (just a little overstating) will solve this problem.
Specific example, was shooting an event under one of those god awful tents without side panels because the speakers block out most of the meter's sensor the background goes crazy over exposed, tried exposing for the outside light but everytime I re-compose the meter drops back 2 or 3 stops.
