Hello** I had to use the Wife's Leica point & shoot to take this picture. I painted Canon's Wide angle converter and the 58mm Lensmate to match the G3 body. Hence the Wife now calls It the G3-UFO. I found the paint match @ Auto Zone...btw

Thank you for all the nice comments! Sorry the pics weren't the greatest. I only have 1 G3 so I was somewhat handicapped. I enjoy modifying stuff *LOL*

..do I see a hint of metal flake in the paint?....you'd make any bass boat owner proud!..... ;-)

UFObuster~~*LOL* yes i couldn't resist the metal flake look...I could add a set of treble hooks and hang over the side of my canoe and take a Real closeup**...btw I left the 58mm lensmate attached when I painted. 2 coats did the job.
G3guro..No filter...that's the very front of the actual lens...I didn't want to cover-up the Canon name or the type of lens it was....There is nowhere to put a filter on the front :(
