I took this one tonight as well, with 20D, 580EX, 100mm + 68mm tubes.

Excellent capture, focus is right on, looks like you are going to love that lens. If you dont already.

Thanks, BE. I really love this lens. The best thing is it gives me enough working distance even with the tubes. But again, I need to practice more. Thanks again!

Great shot Leo, have you tried the Kenko's with the 70-200f/4 ?

I would love to see some pics if you have them!!!

lovely shot........... you've resolved the compound eyes very well here (always a sign of spot on focus )

Thanks, BlanceEMT for your kind words. I think both sigma and canon are excellent lenses. Macro lens are by nature very sharp. I think you will be fine with either one. Can't wait to see more pics from you with your new lens.

Dan, Thanks for your nice comments. I haven't tried the 70-200 as of yet, but I will. I will also put on the 1.4TC, which will give me additional magnification as well as a longer range;) . Just can't wait to try it out. I surely will post some pics.

I like the fact that the focus gets less on the rest of the body. Nice shot.
