Please, check your camera and let me know if it gives more than 1'' shutter speed when the light is insufficient under the Av setting.
I've simply tried to set up aperture to 8.0 under the Av (aperture priority mode) in the dark room and expected to get shutter speed around 5-8 seconds. But not! It doesn't give me more than 1 sec shutter speed in any case!
What's wrong? Some additional settings? When I tried to set up shutter speed priority (Tv) to 5 sec under the same conditions, everything was fine and aperture automatically selected to 8.0. So, it works backwards.
Seems to me, everythig is fine under the daylight, with the shutter speed less than 1 sec in any case.
Is it a problem particularly with my camera? Please, give me some idea.
