I wonder if this little peep was more interested in taking a bath maybe as I have never noticed them taking a wave like that one before. Great series and I get to see new and exciting things everyday thanks to photography.

I wonder if this little peep was more interested in taking a bath maybe as I have never noticed them taking a wave like that one before.

Well, it was standing on the beach when a boat zoomed by (a good distance away) and about 2 minutes later the waves came crashing in. The Sandpiper just stood there and absorbed them all (a good dozen of them)without moving an inch. A couple of these waves completely submerged it underwater!!
