My first post on here. Shot with Canon 10D, Tamaron 70-300mm f4.0 @ 70mm. Little bit of post production in Photoshop ( of course). :)

That's a cool shot. In fact It looks like a toy :)
that is the first thing that I thought when I saw it, and what gives it that is the DOF.
anyway welcome.

Hey NZL,.. well, it is someone's $350,000 toy for sure.. must be nice, huh? I just happened to see it parked in the parking lot of a Giant supermarket, of all places. Man, I was stoked... and I just so happened to have my camera on me. As I said, I pulled the original pic into photoshop and then created a mask using one of the channel layers, and then added a generous gaussian blur to the background to bring out the car sharply. There is no way I would've been able to get that kind of depth of field with my Tamaron lens. Glad you like the pic. I loved it so much I got a 10"x20" print of it and had it mounted. Now if I can only find the owner, I might be able to sell it to him... and then ask him for a ride. :-)

That’s incredible! Looks like a toy to me too. Very nice car from what little I’ve seen on it – must have been a treat to spot it.

very nice pic, and welcome aboard
that's crazy how it was parked all by itself in a giant parking lot, OR did you clone out some cars around it?
either way, excellent shot

Actually DXHatch, I was extremely lucky that the car was actually all by itself at the back of the parking lot. So there was no cloning needed. I was lucky... I suppose the owner didn't wanna take chances with any door dings from other cars. Thanks again for the warm welcome from all of you.

Wierd spec. The discs look too small, the calipers are not the standard ferrari red and there's a strange plate at the bottom of the rear alloy. Anyway, nice pic of a car I'll never own!

there's a strange plate at the bottom of the rear alloy. I think you are seeing the striped tarmac through the spokes.

Painted calipers are an option... And red isn't the standard color.
