Hi @ all,
since yesterday, I have a problem with my S45. If I opened the lens cover the it comes out - goes in - comes out and so one ... and never stops. Then I found out, that if I set the function to "Auto", the camera stops with the lens in, and shows "E16" lower left on the screen.
Furthermore I found out, that by the selection of some functions (P, Tv, Av) the lens goes repeatly in and out, looks like permanently restart the recording mode. For the other functions the E16 will be shown.
I've checked out for some helpful operation and I testet them all:
- Take out the battery for over 20 minutes
- Take out the battery many houer
- Resest the camera to factory settings
- Use an other CF card
But nothing will help.
The "very great" support from canon works only from monday to friday for some hours, so I had enough time to be worry about and search trough the I-Net so I found this great digital photography forum.
I hope someone can give me information to the reasons for this error message, to unerstand it better.
best regards.
Michael
