A nice sunset from a few weeks ago. Comments (+/-) are welcome.

At first glance, I didn't like it ( centred powerpole, distracting signs to the left and right of the 7-11) . It's very busy but that seems to fit the urban scene and reminds me of all those times when I can't get out to that 'picturesque location' , thinking 'wow' somewhere that sunset would be stunning.
To me this image is simple but a reminder of what we can all miss out on when caught up in the rush of everyday life.

Thoughtful comments. Thank you. I centered the pole against my own instincts, to try it a little differently. Here is another from that night. Some may prefer this view, though I'm not that sure about it.

Thanks, kenyc. I took them for my own enjoyment. I really didn't think they would come out this interesting, but took my time taking them anyway. The rest of the pictures are here (http://plan-b.smugmug.com/gallery/451776/1/30732163), if you are interested. The scene is actually a block away from my house, in a city neighborhood. I stood on a ladder in my back yard to take it. JakeC nailed the sentiment, as I was thinking how great this would look from the beach at my family's cottage on Lake Ontario. The sun actually sets on the water there, and it is quite spectacular. We sold that cottage a dew years ago, since it was just my uncle and I using and maintaining the property, and the tax burden was getting to be too much (~$5200/yr.) as I started my family.
