I'd like to get a real fake forties look in some of my photos...any recipe, anyone? This is an attempt, how to fix?

Try Sepia, and fade the edges. what program are you using to make these fakes?

Photoshop 7.0, is there a special Sepia, this one done with H/S layer mask and 60% transparency

There is something very interesting about that photo. Could be her exprssion or a combination of the expression and your ps technique. But either way it made me take a second look. Interesting.
