View Full Version : New Twain Drivers

I have downloaded these but haven't had the opportunity to use them yet. Anyone care to comment on them.
Is it true you will be able to convert raw to *.*tiff now rather than just *.*jpg. That would be a nice upgrade I would think.

They work just fine (it's the same dialog as in ZoomBrowser). It seems that the driver was removed from Canon servers a couple of days ago, but I don't think it was because there is something wrong with them.
PS. You've always had an option to save RAW as TIFF, JPB, BMP in Zoombrowser. Check its preferences.

My major complaint with the Twain drivers is the inability to capture an image or in Canon terms release the shutter. Every other camera I have had allows you to trip the shutter when using Twain. The inability to do so means that these cameras can not be used with some applications such as Virtual reality object software and others.
Anyone else using the G1 or Pro90 to do things like this?
