Just discovered this forum and thought I would join up. I've just returned home after a whirlwind trip around the UK, where I live. I've always been a 'Canon Man' and the attached photo is taken with a Canon 10D. Hopefully I can work out how to upload the photo - but if I can't, you won't be seeing it:D

I thought I heard somewhere that this was fenced off now to keep people at a distance and protect it. I must have heard wrong, because I see someone pretty close to it in your shot.

You're quite correct - the circle is closed off, though you can walk around the perimeter of the circle. The person in the shot would have been outside the circle.
