Yep, the colours are from christmas lights reflecting in something you would probably find in the kitchen...

Here are a couple more I took after I quite liked the other ones.

(these are more obviously leaves) The colours are again christmas lights reflecting on a wet bramble leaf. Taken with the 85mm f1.8 and kenko tubes.

Here is a picture of a controversal lens. You love the bokeh or you hate it.
Please alow me to present you the Canon 500mm F/8 reflexlens.
In one word, big fun to get it out of the box from time to time.
This portrait was actualy a lucky shot doing streetphotography. That lovely lady passed by on a quick pace. Iso 400 and 1/320 was a close call but I'm very pleased with the result. I just added 20% contrast in pp, no extra sharpening. Not bad for a lens made in 1985.
