Tony, thank you. Last summer was a poor season for hummingbirds around here. Those were two of only a handful of decent photos, but I am quite happy to have them. The male was a major pita; he chased all others away and absolutely refused to cooperate in getting his picture taken.

'BEphoto' if you were commenting about my picture, it's not a picture relating to the Alamo, although I can see why it could be mistaken.
The picture is a portion of a miniature model, of Disneyland's early years, showing the stage coach ride in Frontierland. Lens used on a 5D was a Canon 70-200 f2.8L IS at f4.0

That's correct. It was a small metal model of the Belfry in front of the real Belfry. It was shot with an XS with 18-55IS. Don't have the exposure settings with me to share. Another here (http://picasaweb.google.com/jastangl/BrugesBelgium#5290885778252676434) that shows the "fakeness" of the foreground better. The "real" Belfry is here (http://picasaweb.google.com/jastangl/BrugesBelgium#5290886160551390338).

Just wondering if I could get halfway decent bokeh with the 18-55 IS. Not bad at 55 f/5.6 -- better than I thought it would be. Very shallow depth of field, though. Tried to get some shots of the dog, but he wouldn't cooperate, so I used stationary subjects instead. Nothing particularly creative, just bokeh testing.
