Tony, thank you. Last summer was a poor season for hummingbirds around here. Those were two of only a handful of decent photos, but I am quite happy to have them. The male was a major pita; he chased all others away and absolutely refused to cooperate in getting his picture taken.

That's correct. It was a small metal model of the Belfry in front of the real Belfry. It was shot with an XS with 18-55IS. Don't have the exposure settings with me to share. Just wondering if I could get halfway decent bokeh with the 18-55 IS. Not bad at 55 f/5.6 -- better than I thought it would be. Very shallow depth of field, though. Tried to get some shots of the dog, but he wouldn't cooperate, so I used stationary subjects instead. Nothing particularly creative, just bokeh testing.
