well my first post.

These are baby chickens my girlfriends parents have. since there small and cant go far i thought i'd shoot a few. Taken with 28-80MM USM and a canon rebel.

What a sweet lens, it would feel like carrying a cinder block though :). I looked up the specs and it 6.6lbs, very heavy for a 200mm lens. It's almost as heavy as my 70-200, 50D, and 430EX with CF card and batteries (6.7 lbs). But with that much glass it's going to be heavy.

My arms are numb, feet are wobbly and my back is gone. :lol: More to come tomorrow. The bokeh is amazing. Will have a few photos on here soon.

I believe the bokeh in this pic turned out how it did is the fact i was shooting from the deck of my house and the green is suppose to be grass, i thought it turned out pretty interesting.
