Took this just a day or two ago, water was running off the barn on this gate and it was cold outside, the whole gate was lined with ice cicles!

Beautiful ... and creepy. Pet tarantula? If not I'm never moving where you live!

The love the contrast between the blue and orange colors. Dof is great ... making him look like he just suddenly appear there, it also plays up the surreal effect from those inhuman eyes.

No it isn't! It's some kind of grass. (Yes I know wheat can be classed in the same general family, and I'm not familiar with grasses from your part of the world, but it sure ain't wheat!);)

More grass, with weevil. I had no macro with me so used 70-200f4 with 2 kenko tubes (the smaller two) and this is 100% crop...hence all the grain/noise. ISO 400.

I am not sure wheter the EF 50/1.2L would give me the same "feeling" in the images.
I think I like in most cases the glowing of bright parts of the image:

This is such a beautiful shot. I love the light colors and the flowers on the handle bars. My only question is ... what are those little red and black bird looking things? Those look fake. :D Or are they actually birds?

I've just recently got my Canon 60mm macro lens and guess what it's super but the macro shots aren't as crazy as my kit lens reversed shots were (that makes no sense but you know what I mean).

So anyhow, i've jumped for taking refraction shots to tiny dew drops and I think it works ok until I get some extension tubes. What do you guys think?

f1.2 is sooo thin, though, I forget if this was at 1.2, I don't think it was, seems 1.2 was TOO thin for this quick test.
