View Full Version : What did I find on my Pillow?

While breaking camp last week during our camping trip this little fellow was waiting to be "shot". We were in a hurry (had to make the miles to reach the next stop) so I had no time to play around. One shot and one shot it was. (the blue is from the pillow it was siiting on). No PostP and no Crop. Just the full image

Very cool shot. The blue really adds to the photo. DOF is Perfect. very crisp and sharp. well done.

Nice shot. Love the combination of blue and green. This pic is very sharp as BE mentioned. The composition is very nice. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice shot here keeping it in focus and DOF also looks like what we call a katydid they can get pretty large around here as in 2-3 inches but this one looks like it a nymph because of the undeveloped wings.

i agree it is a lovely shot
it is a katydid (believe it or not they are called that because there is a north american species who's call sounds like " kate she did")
they also get called bush crickets..

A katydid on your pillow is a good omen. And a rather neat image to boot...;)

Great shot. Wondered why they (across the pond) called them that. Down here they are bush crickets. Learn something new every day!
