Has anyone ever used a Sunpak PZ5000 flash with a G2? Do they work well together? I'd appreciate any response. Thanks.

not familiar with that model, but you want to aquaint yourself with this website:

not all flashes are safe to use with the G2 (or any other digicam) - due to high trigger voltages.
