hi folks,
i found this forum only a few days ago and it's great!
if your interested i have posted a small gallery of shots
that i took on sunday at the world superbikes at philip
island melbourne australia.
please bear in mind that as i only have two 128meg
cards, i shot all this stuff in medium fine setting - some
are quite heavily cropped - some aren't.

Some nice pictures there.

The black and white ones appeal to me.

Welcome, not been here long myself but have picked up so much info. Great shots from Philip Island, Neil Hodgson was awesome ! as are the colours in your pics.

Run offs and fencing make life very difficult at circuits these days, I have found that I can get better pics on practice days and it is a lot easier to “blag” your way into the infield as well, I took these at 1st day practice at the UK MotoGP a couple of years ago

Keep posting, but if you want serious feedback on your stuff, post it in the “Critique Corner” forum.

thanks for your comments!
unfortunately i couldn't get very close to the action.
(a pit pass would have been very nice)
i'm quite happy with the results i ended up with - now
i really want to get to grips with the camera.

thanks again.
