Very nice shots here good work with the DOF and controlling the exposure on the yellows here also. Might be able to add some USM to them and get them even sharper. Only minor nit I have is the bee is dead center in both images here.

Good shots John, very sharp.
The pollen is very evident on the hairs and legs.

Lovely shots. Great detail. Personally I think the second one holds more visiual interest as he is really diggin' in there. He looks like a furry bewinged piggy...:D
