After playing around with my G3 and polarizer in the bright, spring sunlight, I decided to take some evening pictures.
It was quite cold too, but the battery held up great.

Nice pics. When I get my tripod I look forward to doing some night pics with my G3.

I really like the 'woodland' picture - what filter and settings did you use please?

Great pics.
The Wodalnd image is sharp and conveys the sense of nature waiting for its summer foliage.
PS:
Don't forget that you can alter the color balanced a bit where necessary. Also, you might rconsider rotating the woodland pic about half a degree CCW -- to get the pole vertical -- and then crop.

Thanks for the tips Leighhow.
Originally the image was shot in Auto WB, but I ended up using Tungsten. The woodland pic did come out rather sharp. Usually tree branches tend to be soft (like the other pics) because of the long exposure. It was very windy too, but since these trees were shaded, they didnt' move much.
Chardyboy, I didnt use any filters at all. The settings were manual, tungsten wb. The rest of the settings are listed on the webpage below the picture.

Yup, the battery performance of the G3 is EXCELLENT.
One thing I did notice, when the wind really started to blow and it got really cold, the lcd started to look a little pixelated (actually more like colour banding), kind of like when you view a picture on your computer and your colour depth is only 16 bit.
I'm not totally sure if it was the cold, or perhaps just because it was dark.
