Had a REAL paying job today!
You have got to love the 70-200 2.8L IS!
This is Uno. He is a reining horse. Going to be for sale :(
I told the owner he could come live with me. What a nice fellow he (the horse) is.

Nicely done, Bonnie.
If this is your first paying job, I'd say you earned your money!

Nice job Bonnie. Looks like you picked a good time of day and a cooperative horse for your first job! And you're right, the 70-200IS is in-dispensible!

Thanks Curtis!
Yes, it is only the second horse job I have had--but the first with action.
I'm no stranger to the horses, as I was a professional trainer for many, many years--but handling a camera is a little different! LOL!!
We didn't get the trainer to ride this horse for us--so he was spinning a little slow and not stopping--"down in the dirt" as well as he can.
But, all and all, I think the owner will be pleased.

That is one handlsome horse there. Nice job Bonnie! He looked kinda sad though, maybe he knew his owner is selling him.

Very good work, Bonnie. Good captures of a beautiful horse. He seems to always have an eye on you, no matter what he's doing.

Thanks Stan!
But, actually he was eyeing a bag of carrots--not ME!!!

Excellent.
You can see the eyeball in every shot.

Thanks Bob!
I was just printing these up for a portfolio--and I did have to add a little twinkle to the eye in the headshot. It was there in the body shot--but not in the other.

Great work, Bonnie. I love the head shot, but you did very well on those actions shots too! You're doing good stuff with that new lens...

That's one lovely looking horse. Good photos and lucky you.
As a suggestion, I would boost the contrast and saturation -and level the horizon on the one showing the brake test.

Thanks Airdale, Karen, Tupe, Skip!

Carzee, thanks for your suggestion and pointing that out!
I will do that when I do the final copy work.
Leveling it will definitely help it I think.
