Just a few ideas on what to implement:

* Cross-exhibition browsing/viewing/search etc, or in other words, an "all photos in database" exhibition.

* Local/global exhibition photo categories (some categories only available in particular exhibitions).

Already coded into version under developement. It automatically combines all exhibitions under same password into "All Exhibitions Combined" (or whatever you want to call it) exhibition. In that exhibition browsing is slowed down a bit course because it does the combining in real-time (most people won't notice the speed difference), otherwise it behaves exactly like a normal exhibition.
