Morning mist

Taken yesterday mornng at Burnsall in the Yorkshire Dales. Any C&C would be appreciated.

It's a nice scene. My only issue is not being able to tell what your subject is. The canal doesn't seem to be it, but it leads the eye into the scene where it fails to find anything. Not sure what you could have done. If the fog is your subject, the canal distracts from it. If this scene is what you wanted, then you did well.

Thanks for the comments Stan. I was trying to achieve a bit of both!! Wanted the river to lead the eye into the clearing fog view...your comments are accurate though as it tends to fall short...only getting the eye to the woods!
