I like the first and last best, the first almost has an oil painting feel to it, but I have to go for that last one as my fav, just love the colours, almost abstract and love the strange angle, lovely stuff!

Thanks.
How about a bit more depth?

im not to keen on that last one, it seems to loose the lovely spacious effect you are creating in the other images

Lovely shots, Freddy. Color in the third one is outstanding.

Freddy -- those are all fabulous. I like the way, in the first, that the sky and the reflection in the wet sand pull together as they run towards the distance, and then are swallowed in the surf. They pull the eye into the water. Great work.

The first one is really excellent Freddy. You might even try a Velvia "action" in Photoshop with it and see how it looks.

Great shots. I love Costa Rica. Been there several times. The first time I went there was in 1976 we stayed on the beach at Cauhita. Excellent time, hard to return to the states and the daily routine.

The composition is best here, but the colors are better in the other three. I think that in the others there is too much space given to the sky, which isn't the most interesting part of the photo. If the clouds were really special and you wanted them as the main subject, then having them take up 2/3 of the photo would be great, but the sky, especially at the top just isn't that interesting.

I would crop half of it off and make a nice panorama, or go back and re-shoot. :-)

Craig, I have just received that same suggestion from someone else . :)
They indeed look better with less sky and panoramic format.
Thanks

Hi Peachman, thanks for your comments. The pic is not tilted. It's a perspective thing + the crest of the surf. Check the horizontal of the mountains "in front"

like the view across the road from here...the sand is not as dark, though...
