Went out over the weekend and took ths shot along with a few others. I am looking for critiques and tips on how to improve the shot with some Photoshop work.

put the huge text in the white area... so it doesnt ruin the picture.

Agree. borders are for info. Don't ruin a great image with distracting text over the top.

I was standing on t6he banks on this shot but I took several others and I was in the river for those, little stressful. I will reframe and repost.

The picture seems a little blurry to me. Possibly from wind blowing the trees.
I'm a little confused why you use long shutter speeds in places that have little water movement. The picture of the rock is my favorite out of these, but I don't understand your shutter speed on that one either. 0.8 sec for a still picture?

There was a little wind so I am not surprised. It was really shady so it called for a longer exposure at the 100 ISO.
