Good day folks!
I'd like to take a picture of my sleeve. It goes from my wrist to my shoulder. Id like to have a black background. Has anyone tried this? What's the easiest way?

the best way I know is to get a new razor blade and strip the skin from the arm and lay it out on poster board. This should ensure that you get every inch of the sleeve so you don't lose any detail from the curvature of the arm.
Hope this helps!

Hope this helps, i'm trying to take a photo like this
how would you go about getting a black background? just lay your arm on velvet or use it as a back drop and have someone else take the photo?

Ya, just looks like in front of a black background, if you can't get all black you can always PS it out.
You can get someone to take the picture, or use a cable release, wireless, or just couple second delay on the camera to take the photo and just rotate around.
